A small update - ZE BUMP

Hey guys, I know it's been ages ago since I've posted anything here (got busy with Jetset, real life and other things as well), but I have this idea of something I could post here in my mind:

Namely, I've recently gained a bit of interest again in a game I still have: The Sims: Pet Stories. It came out around 2007, so it works on the Sims 2 engine. Unfortunately it's not working on Windows 8 or later, so I can only play it on my old laptop. (a miracle the thing still is functioning well!)

About the game; TS:PS has 2 gameplay modes: the traditional freeplay game we all know and love, which takes place in the lovely, hill-nestled village of Arbor Falls.

It also introduces a new Story Mode. In this mode, the player guides a pre-made Sim through a pre-made story with all kinds of different events happening.

The 2 stories included in the game are: Best in Show and Midnight Masquerade.

Best in Show follows an Alice Whitt, a starving artist, and her Dalmatian, Sam. Alice inherited the house her grandfather built with his own bare hands and recently moved back to Garden Heights to occupy it. But then, the ambitious landowner Diana DeBore pays a visit: she tells Alice that she only has two weeks to pay her $120.000 debt off in order not to lose the house to Diana. The only hope Alice has left is to train Sam and win the local dog show and the money needed to pay off her debt. Can she succees?

Midnight Masquerade follows a Stephen Loyal, a dedicated chef cook, who leads a comfortable and predictable life in the desert town of Mesa Flats. The annual Midnight Masquerade is coming up, and his boss Julianne gives Stephen the important task to arrange the catering for the festivity. However When he misses his cousin Celeste's wedding, Celeste feels he owes her to watch her spoiled cat, Diva, when she's on her honeymoon. Little does Stephen know that these seemingly serperate goals will lead him to the romance scene himself...

So, here's the idea I have: I am going to take pictures of my gameplay and tell the story here!

My Simself

So, according to popular trends, it's popular to do a certain activity in the Simming Community. That activity is called "making a Simselfie". So, I've made my own Simself! :D

Simvivor Island 4

"A lush tropical island with woods, lakes, mountains and reality shows?!..."

Yup. A lush island suitable for a nice game of Survivor! Several beaches are nice spots for Tribes to build their camp, while somewhere deep in the jungle might be a nice spot to fetch some fruits for food... Somewhere on the high cliffs the Tribal Council area can be found - besides 16 small coloured torches each representing a player, some chairs and a voting table a little further, a nice spot for dramatic cliff jumps can be found. But what is that cabin near the lake for? Is it just for decoration, is it for a reward, or does it contain a twist?...

Simvivor Island 4 has obviously been made for Season 4 of Mojot89's show Simvivor but unfortunately, the season had to be cancelled. So now I've put the island on here, so everybody can try and take a look around there...

Min Hee's Wedding Dress

At the wedding of Romeo and Juliet's Season 1, Min Hee was an invited guest who wore a lovely dress I'm quite proud of myself ;). That's why I want to share it with you guys. :D

Here at the right is a picture of the full outfit. Min Hee is wearing some base game default accessories (like her earrings and her ring), so those are obviously not included.

So without further ado, here are the individual colourings of her clothes and stuff.

And if you're just like, "I want it all!", here's the full Sim. I think some other content might be needed for other outfits, just make sure you've got Pets and the Fashionable Fitness Set and you should be OK.

Min Hee Ni and Odessa Wolff

"The Luxury's Lap Survivors."

Odessa was born as the daughter of Thornton Wolff (née Worthman) and Morgana Wolff. After an arguement involving mother and daughter being Werewolves, Morgana left the house to become a guinea pig to freeze her body to save her for the future. While the now single Thornton started raking in big money and dated some women, the babysitter named Tom Lee Casby raised young Odessa.

Min Hee's roots lie somewhere near Shang Simla. The young girl blossomed into a sweet, yet seemingly fragile woman. After a try for a communications degree on Sims University, Min Hee decided that travelling was more like her passion, so she took a job on the Luxury's Lap to see the world.

After the events on Jetset, Min Hee adopted the now "orphaned" Odessa. The latter inherited Thornton's huge inheritance, so she discussed the idea to begin a reality show based on the events with some relatives of killed Sims who approved and so she bought the Jetsetter.

Mr. Doubley

"Behold, the man who is a... Doubley?"

Mr. Doubley is one of those weird guys who still play with their teddies, drive weird vehicles and stuff. While a good technician can make a working space station out of a paperclip and a piece of chewing gum, this guy can manage to cause a disastrous catastrophe with said materials. It's a miracle he made it quite far on No Privacy 8, despite uttering little words...

Kallistra Forrester

Kallistra Forrester is from the future, living in the Capitol, Panem. She is as shallow, obsessed with fashion and entertainment as you would expect from her. Her favorite reality show is Hunger Games, her favorite wig is the one with the green bang and her favorite Victor is Enobaria, Now Kallistra also has those big pointy teeth as her idol...

Chandrika Sakhawaih

"The quietly mysterious outdoor lover."

Et voila! :D

Chandrika descends from Canadian Indians. She is in close contact with nature and is a fauna whisperer, especially with predators. Her nickname is the Brown Wolf for a reason (she also has a prsonality which can be considered wolfish, see traits for details). Due to this, other people often describe her as mysterious and quiet. She indeed is very shy, but once in a blue moon, she can turn out very powerful as well...

Philip, Ellis and Caro Nethercorn

"The small, yet tight family."

Philip Nethercorn is a Police Agent and who became a Lycantrope during a recent mission involving rescueing a young damsel in distress who briefly was interested in him. Being widowed for awhile, he became handy juggling his job with the care for his young sprout Caro. His sister Ellis, who just graduated from college, helps him for now, but the question is when she'll step out of his shadow and make name for herself?

I also kinda forgot which content exactly IS necessary for this, but SN is in any case a must. 

The Nethercorns obviously come as a household.

Laurey Lemon-Lime

"The one taking family values to a new level."

Here she is! :D

Well, her grandmother was already known for being rude, extreme and inproper, but if anybody takes that to a new level, it's her granddaughter Laurey. Despite being at least as lively, rude and partyish as her old woman, she also has some rebellion spirit in her, actively trying to undermine the "proper established order"...
